Turkey is one of the most complete and easily digestible proteins in canine nutrition — lean, bioavailable, and well-tolerated by the majority of dogs, including many who struggle with chicken. As a foundation protein it earns its place not through novelty but through consistency. It simply works.
Duck and goose do something different. Less common, more expensive to source responsibly, and carrying amino acid profiles that complement turkey in ways that broaden the nutritional picture beyond what a single-protein recipe can achieve. They also bring a depth of flavour that dogs respond to instinctively — the kind that makes a bowl worth returning to.

We recommend beginning with the suggested amount and observing your pet over two to three weeks. A healthy weight means you can feel — but not prominently see — the ribs, with a visible waist when viewed from above.
If your pet is transitioning from another food, introduce Celtic Connection gradually over seven to ten days, increasing the proportion each day to allow the digestive system to adjust comfortably.
