Feeding Guide
Every Celtic Connection recipe is formulated to be complete and balanced. The calculator below tells you exactly how much to feed, calibrated to your pet's individual profile.
Before you begin
"Feeding Celtic Connection is not complicated. But it is worth doing properly."
Our recipes are complete and balanced to FEDIAF standards. The amounts shown in the calculator are starting points — calibrated to your pet's body weight, life stage, and activity level. Adjust over four to six weeks based on body condition, not guesswork.
Fresh water should always be available. If transitioning from a lower-quality diet, a slower introduction schedule is recommended — your pet's digestive system may need time to adjust to a genuinely nutrient-dense food.
How to use the calculator
Select dog or cat. The calculator adjusts its logic accordingly — different metabolic rates, different life stages.
Input your pet's current body weight and select their life stage: puppy/kitten, adult, or senior.
Low, normal, or high. Working dogs and very active animals have meaningfully different caloric needs.
The calculator returns a daily amount in grams. Divide across two meals if feeding twice daily.
