Description

We’re awaiting EFSA’s renewed approval for agar — as soon as we have the green light, production resumes. Watch this space.

Wet food, done honestly. 94% animal ingredients — 65% chicken and turkey meat and organs of human-grade quality, with a meat-derived broth that brings the total animal content to what a dog’s biology was built for. Sweet potato, pumpkin, cranberries, artichoke and mint. Schizochytrium microalgae for omega-3. Chelated minerals for bioavailability. Glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM for joints.

That’s the entire ingredient list. Nothing removed, nothing hidden.

A long ingredient list is easy. It’s a way of appearing generous while obscuring what’s actually in the bowl — functional fillers dressed up as features, additives that exist to compensate for ingredients that weren’t good enough to begin with.

A short one is harder. Every ingredient has to justify its presence. There is nowhere to hide a shortcut, no way to mask a compromise with something that sounds impressive on a label.

This recipe contains eleven ingredients. Not because we couldn’t think of more — but because more wasn’t needed. Chicken and turkey of human-grade quality, slow-cooked with broth to preserve what matters. Sweet potato and pumpkin for digestive ease. Cranberries, artichoke and mint chosen for what they contribute to the organs that keep a dog well. Schizochytrium microalgae for omega-3. Chelated minerals because bioavailability is the point, not just presence.

Eleven ingredients. All of them there for a reason. None of them there for appearance.

Every animal is an individual. The right daily amount for your pet depends on their age and life stage, activity level, current body weight, and any sensitivities or health considerations that make them uniquely themselves.

That’s why we built a dedicated feeding calculator — so you can find a personalised starting point based on your pet’s specific profile rather than a generic chart.

Calculate your pet’s daily amount →

We recommend beginning with the suggested amount and observing your pet over two to three weeks. A healthy weight means you can feel — but not prominently see — the ribs, with a visible waist when viewed from above.

If your pet is transitioning from another food, introduce Celtic Connection gradually over seven to ten days, increasing the proportion each day to allow the digestive system to adjust comfortably.
