Description
A sample tells you nothing. A few grams confirms neither preference nor tolerance — not how a recipe sits after day three, not whether enthusiasm outlasts novelty.
One kilogram does.
The Dog Discovery Box includes a 1kg bag of every recipe.
- Chicken with Turkey & Sweet Potato
- Duck with Goose & Sweet Potato
- Lamb with Goat & Sweet Potato
- Salmon with Trout & Sweet Potato
Enough to know.
The pet food industry’s answer to uncertainty is a sample. A few grams in a foil sachet, enough to confirm a dog will eat something once — which tells you almost nothing about whether it’s the right food.
Celtic Connection’s answer is different.
A 1kg bag gives you days, not mouthfuls. Time to observe how a recipe is received beyond the first bowl. Time to see how it’s digested. Time to notice whether a sensitivity surfaces, whether enthusiasm holds, whether this is the food your dog was waiting for.
We built the Discovery Box because getting it right matters — for you, and for the dog you’re trying to feed well.
Chicken with Turkey & Sweet Potato Two complementary poultry proteins, freshly prepared, with sweet potato for clean, gluten-free slow-release energy. A highly digestible starting point that suits most dogs, including those with no known sensitivities.
Duck with Goose & Sweet Potato A premium game and poultry pairing, rarely found in mainstream dog food. Naturally rich in flavour, with a protein profile that many dogs who have struggled with chicken tolerate exceptionally well.
Lamb with Goat & Sweet Potato Two red meat proteins that bring depth of flavour and a distinct nutritional profile. Naturally gentle on the digestive system, making it an excellent choice for dogs with sensitivities — as well as active dogs who simply thrive on something more robust.
Salmon with Trout & Sweet Potato A complete cold-water fish pairing, naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids to support skin, coat and joint health. For dogs who thrive on fish-based protein — or those being introduced to it for the first time.
Every animal is an individual. The right daily amount for your pet depends on their age and life stage, activity level, current body weight, and any sensitivities or health considerations that make them uniquely themselves.
That’s why we built a dedicated feeding calculator — so you can find a personalised starting point based on your pet’s specific profile rather than a generic chart.
Calculate your pet’s daily amount →
We recommend beginning with the suggested amount and observing your pet over two to three weeks. A healthy weight means you can feel — but not prominently see — the ribs, with a visible waist when viewed from above.
If your pet is transitioning from another food, introduce Celtic Connection gradually over seven to ten days, increasing the proportion each day to allow the digestive system to adjust comfortably.
