Description

Four proteins. One bowl. Eighty percent animal, because that is what a cat is built to eat.

Duck, quail, pheasant and turkey — each chosen for what it contributes, together delivering the variety and amino acid completeness that a single protein source never could. Functional botanicals to support the organs that keep a cat well from the inside. Glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM for the joints that carry them through a lifetime of being exactly who they are.

You may notice grass-paper labels on your bag — our way of updating the recipe without discarding perfectly good packaging.

A cat that isn’t eating enough protein isn’t just hungry. It’s borrowing from itself — drawing on muscle tissue to meet the amino acid demands its body cannot negotiate away. Cats have no metabolic off switch for protein metabolism. Unlike dogs, unlike humans, they require a continuous and substantial supply of animal protein simply to maintain basic function. This is not a preference. It is physiology.

Most commercial cat food acknowledges this in principle and compromises it in practice. Cereals, starches, and plant proteins fill the bag because they fill it cheaply. The label says “with chicken.” The chicken is often the smallest thing in it.

Eighty percent animal protein is not a marketing position. It is the minimum that takes feline biology seriously.

Duck, quail, pheasant and turkey — four species, each with a distinct nutritional profile, together providing what an obligate carnivore actually needs. Not as a treat. Not as a topper. As the foundation of every meal, every day.

Because for a cat, there was never a compromise worth making.

Every animal is an individual. The right daily amount for your pet depends on their age and life stage, activity level, current body weight, and any sensitivities or health considerations that make them uniquely themselves.

That’s why we built a dedicated feeding calculator — so you can find a personalised starting point based on your pet’s specific profile rather than a generic chart.

Calculate your pet’s daily amount →

We recommend beginning with the suggested amount and observing your pet over two to three weeks. A healthy weight means you can feel — but not prominently see — the ribs, with a visible waist when viewed from above.

If your pet is transitioning from another food, introduce Celtic Connection gradually over seven to ten days, increasing the proportion each day to allow the digestive system to adjust comfortably.
