Description

We’re awaiting EFSA’s renewed approval for agar — as soon as we have the green light, production resumes. Watch this space.

A cat’s requirement for animal protein is not a preference — it is a biological non-negotiable. Chicken, duck and turkey, each contributing something the others don’t, across a life that spans kitten to senior without the recipe ever needing to change.

Chicken is the protein a cat will accept. Duck is the one they come back for. Turkey sits between them — leaner, complementary, quietly essential to the amino acid balance that neither achieves alone.

Three poultry species in one bowl is not indulgence. It is precision. Each brings a distinct nutritional profile; together they cover what a single protein source leaves open. For a cat whose diet is built almost entirely on animal protein, the quality and completeness of that protein is not a detail. It is the whole point.

Wet food amplifies this. Higher moisture content means better hydration — something cats, evolved as desert animals with a low thirst drive, rarely achieve through water alone. A complete and balanced wet food built on 94% animal ingredients is not a supplement to a cat’s diet. For many cats, it is exactly what their diet should look like.

Every animal is an individual. The right daily amount for your pet depends on their age and life stage, activity level, current body weight, and any sensitivities or health considerations that make them uniquely themselves.

That’s why we built a dedicated feeding calculator — so you can find a personalised starting point based on your pet’s specific profile rather than a generic chart.

Calculate your pet’s daily amount →

We recommend beginning with the suggested amount and observing your pet over two to three weeks. A healthy weight means you can feel — but not prominently see — the ribs, with a visible waist when viewed from above.

If your pet is transitioning from another food, introduce Celtic Connection gradually over seven to ten days, increasing the proportion each day to allow the digestive system to adjust comfortably.
