Terms & Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and deliveries between Emgee Trading bvba and its customers via the Online Shop located on the Emgee Trading bvba website (www.emgeetrading.com) and the official Facebook® pages for our products including Celtic Connection Holistic Pet Food. When you place orders for products using the Online Shop located on www.celticconnection.eu you are contracting with Emgee Trading bvba, doing business as Celtic Connection Holistic Pet Food. In these Terms and Conditions, you, the customer and purchaser of products, are referred to as “you”. Emgee Trading bvba, the operator of the Online Shop and seller of the products is referred to as the “Seller”. References to “Emgee Trading” or “we” or “us” are understood to mean Emgee Trading bvba. If you need to contact us, the Seller, the relevant contact details are indicated in the “Contact Details” section of these General Terms and Conditions.
2. Language and Content of the Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern any and all contracts concluded between you and the Seller via the Online Shop. The Terms and Conditions are available in English. In the event of a translation, the English Terms and Conditions shall prevail. When placing an order by clicking on the “Buy Now” button during the buying process, you acknowledge having taken notice of these Terms and Conditions and to accept them unconditionally. We may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You may review a copy of the most recent version of the Terms and Conditions on the Online Shop at any time. When you order products from the Online Shop, the version of the Terms and Conditions which is current at the time you place the order will apply to the contract for those products. Any terms and conditions you impose shall not form part of the contract unless the Seller explicitly agrees to them in writing. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected thereby.
3. Contractual Parties and Territory
The Online Shop is solely for use by private individuals who are of legal age and legally capable of placing an order. Contracts for products purchased via the Online Shop are between the individual consumer and Emgee Trading, the Seller, as defined above. The products offered via the Online Shop are only available for delivery to addresses specified and are not intended for commercial resale. The Seller is constantly monitoring the market and reserves the right to extend the regions in which it is active at any time. Customers wishing to place orders for delivery to addresses in other countries are kindly requested to contact our sales support by email: email@example.com.
4. Ordering Process
When the desired product is identified, it may be added to the Shopping Bag by clicking the “Add to Bag” button. The contents of the Shopping Bag may be reviewed at any time by clicking the “Shopping Bag” button displayed in the top right-hand corner of the online shop. Products can be removed from the Shopping Bag by clicking the “X” button that appears in the upper right corner when the line item is highlighted. To purchase the products in the Shopping Bag, tick the box to agree to our latest Terms and Conditions, and click the “Checkout” button. Fill in your Shipping details and select the desired delivery method, then click “Continue”. Select the desired payment method and enter your billing details. Click on “Continue” to reach the order review page. Any necessary changes can be made to the order details by clicking the “Change” button below each section. Click the “Place Order” button to complete the ordering process. The order process may be aborted at any time by closing the browser window. To return to previous steps in the order process before placing an order, click on the desired section of the progress bar at the bottom of the individual page.
5. Contract Conclusion
Before placing an order, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. We recommend printing or downloading a copy for future reference. By clicking the “Place Order” button, you enter an offer to buy the products contained in your shopping bag and accept your agreement will be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Seller will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending an email, the Confirmation Email, when the product is available and payment for your order has been received. A binding legal contract between you and the Seller is formed when the Seller sends you the Confirmation Email. When the product ordered is in stock and the Seller has received your payment, the Confirmation Email should be provided within 24 hours of placing the order. Should you not receive a Confirmation Email within 48 hours of placing an order, you are kindly requested to contact the Seller's Customer Support team (firstname.lastname@example.org). Should you not receive a Confirmation Email within 30 days of placing an order you will not be bound by your offer to buy the product(s) detailed in your order.
6. Delivery of Goods
Standard Shipping within the EU: your order will typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days after the day you receive the Confirmation Email. In the event the Seller is unable to deliver the ordered product because the Seller itself is not supplied by its own suppliers, without culpability on the part of the Seller, the Seller may withdraw from the contract. In such a case, the Seller shall inform you without delay and propose a comparable product. If a comparable product is not available, or if you do not wish to have the alternate product delivered, the Seller shall, without delay, reimburse any payment made. Deliveries are free of customs duties within the EU. Customs duties, taxes and other levies applied to deliveries to countries outside the EU shall be borne by you, the customer. Whilst the Seller will do everything he can to keep to any specified delivery periods these cannot always be guaranteed and as such the Seller shall not be bound by them.
7. Prices, Taxes and Shipping Fees
The price of products ordered from the Online Shop is the price which is valid at the time the order is placed. The price is indicated on the screen before you place the order and in the Confirmation Email. Prices are shown in Euro and include value-added tax (VAT). You accept that you will be responsible for paying any sales or other taxes, duties and charges levied on products in the country where the products are to be delivered to the extent the Seller has not already invoiced you for these. In the event that supplied products are damaged en route, the Seller shall be notified immediately. The Seller shall have the option of lodging a complaint with the carrier or transport insurer regarding the damage. Failure to provide notification of transport damage shall in no way affect your statutory guarantee rights. All products remain the property of the Seller until the Seller receives payment in full. Prior to the transfer of ownership, pledging, transfer of ownership as security, processing or redesigning are not permitted without prior explicit written approval from the Seller.
We accept most major credit and debit cards. You can shop with confidence from us, knowing that transactions are protected by the highest level of security via SSL encryption. Credit card payments and bank transfers are handled in cooperation with Mollie and Stripe. Your personal details are processed securely and we retain no record of these.
9. Right of Withdrawal / Returns
Customers who are consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose that is neither attributable to their commercial nor self-employed professional activity. The following regulations apply to the cancellation right and the excluding of the cancellation right. The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires, physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Emgee Trading bvba, Sonnisstraat 106, 3530 Helchteren, Belgium, email@example.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Should you withdraw from this contract, all payments received from you shall be reimbursed, excluding the costs of delivery and return, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We shall carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the items or you have supplied evidence of having returned the items, whichever is the earliest.

without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if the items are sent back prior to the expiration of the 14 day period calculated from the date of receiving notification of the return. Any returns resulting from a failed delivery attempt by the carrier due to an incorrect address provided by you during the ordering process will incur an administration fee of € 7,50. This amount will automatically be deducted from the reimbursement.
10. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the event of items
which have been opened, damaged or used,
whose packaging has been discoloured, damaged or otherwise made unsalable, with the exception of damage caused during transport.
Items must be returned in pristine condition and in the original packaging. The Seller may not be held liable for any damage or loss of the product caused during the return.
Upon delivery, the items must be inspected carefully. Complaints regarding visible defects must be indicated within 3 days from the delivery date. Complaints received after this period are invalid and inadmissible. Damaged items must be returned or collected by our carrier to be eligible for a claim. In the event of incorrect or incomplete delivery, the warranty period applies to the claim. When your claim is founded, we will credit your account or deliver a replacement item within 14 days from receipt of the item(s). Refunds are made in the original payment method. In the event of cancellation of the order, the item(s) must be returned in their original condition and in the original package and include a copy of the order invoice. Shipping costs incurred for the return of the items due to cancellation are not reimbursed.
The Seller shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control such as strikes, fire, interruptions in communication systems, natural disasters or other force majeure events or not obtaining the products from our suppliers or third parties in a timely manner. In all cases, the liability of the Seller cannot exceed the amount paid for the product which is the subject of the claim. The content of the Online Shop is protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. The Online Shop may not be reproduced in whole or in part, transferred by electronic or conventional means, modified, linked to or used for public or commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Seller.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and contracts formed under them shall be governed by Belgian law under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Hasselt (Belgium).
